I know most people keep using Windows as they are used to it, but how about taking Linux for a spin and see how that goes? Better privacy, better security, less ram/cpu usage, ...

It's true that some applications are not compatible, but we have Proton which keeps improving, wine to run windows apps, and a lot of alternative programs which can probably replace the software you use.
